Service terms.
STT GO is a St. Thomas taxi-request and dispatch platform. It supports transportation arrangements but does not replace licensing, safety or fare obligations that apply to taxi operators.
Taxi requests and fares
Displayed amounts are based on configured destination-based St. Thomas taxi fare information. Posted tariff cards and lawful instructions remain controlling. Routes not represented in the configured point-to-point table require confirmation before payment.
Booking fee and driver balance
The online STT GO booking fee protects the requested pickup and platform service. Unless checkout states otherwise, the remaining taxi balance is paid directly to the driver. Stripe processes online card payments securely.
Rider responsibilities
- Provide accurate route, passenger, luggage and contact details.
- Be ready at the confirmed pickup time and location.
- Review the fare and applicable booking or no-show terms before paying.
- Treat drivers, vehicles and other passengers respectfully.
Driver applications
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, employment, trip volume or earnings. Applicants must provide accurate information and maintain all licenses, registrations, insurance and other requirements applicable to their service. STT GO may verify information, request supporting documents, decline an application or deactivate access for safety, compliance or integrity reasons.
Driver access after approval
The public application does not require a ChatGPT account. Approved applicants receive separate activation instructions. Driver access may require identity verification so trips, notifications and actions remain attributable to the approved operator.
Availability and changes
Ride and driver availability is not guaranteed. Weather, traffic, road conditions, ferry and flight activity, communications outages and other island conditions may affect service. STT GO may update platform functions and these terms as operations evolve.
